Sliding is available when you are moving at speeds higher than 10 m/s or 376 u/s. By buying items that increase move or sprint speed, you can attain movement speeds above that threshold. Moving at speeds higher than 10 m/s or 376 u/s and then sliding repeatedly is called a Crouch Glide. By pressing the duck key repeatedly, you initiate a slide for short periods of time. This can make you (and your head hitbox) harder to hit due to the constant movement of your character. Timing the crouch key correctly is essential, since aggressive crouch spamming causes you to move slower; try to prolong the slide instead of blindly spamming the duck key. While you are sliding, you have infinite ammo. If you shoot while sliding, you can conserve ammunition. However, this can be hard to properly time; you have to repeatedly press and let go of the fire button every time you slide to prevent M1 Lockout (summary: you cannot hold M1). To execute Crouch Gliding, have a move speed of above 10 m/s or 376 u/s. While moving above the speed threshold, repeatedly press crouch. If you want to shoot during a Crouch Glide, press M1 during the slide.
