IceFrog is a Deadlock developer. He is best known for his work as the lead developer of Defense of the Ancients: Allstars and subsequently Dota 2.

Overview

In a January 2024 interview, Deadlock artist Vasili Zorin said that IceFrog was working with him at then unnamed game, later revealed to be Deadlock.[1]

The Six Heroes update Steam post was originally credited to IceFrog's Steam account, confirming his involvement with Deadlock.

Steam's API revealed that IceFrog has posted 11 Deadlock update Steam posts as of May 31, 2026.[2]
