Kaori is a Deadlock developer. Their username in the official Deadlock Discord is @kaori05908.
Kaori records the character's voice lines, and as such they are a reliable source for confirming voice actors.[1] However, they won't confirm a casting unless the dev team has "locked down" a character's voice and design, as the game is still in development.[2] They have further clarified that, due to the unpredictable nature of development, some actors may still be recast even after they have been confirmed or recognized by the community.[3][4]
Kaori is nicknamed after Yamato's real name.[5]
