I tested the previously mentioned exceptions to healing effectiveness and found they were not true(possibly patched?). There is some UI inconsistency with said items/abilities but the true healing received is always reduced by 40%.

Since [[Trooper|Troopers]] don't drop [[Souls]] in Street Brawl, players are less encouraged to hit them. However, pushing waves is still valuable to gain heal from Banner Troopers and pressure the enemy's objectives.
