| Ok, first example makes sense in the context of the newspaper, though it could be argued that it uses a gender neutral descriptor for a reason. Examples 2-4 could have used gendered pronouns just as well. Same for 5-6, I can't speak specifically on Japanese grammar but Yamato does use gendered pronouns when speaking of other characters (and I mean specifically in the official subtitles in the game files, which - though I can't say I'm familiar with Valve's writing process - I can only presume are the lines as originally written in English). --[[User:Gammaton32|Gammaton32]] ([[User talk:Gammaton32|talk]]) 20:26, 31 August 2026 (UTC)
