I feel strongly that this article should be called "The Cursed Apple" not simply "Map", so I've moved it. Some of the reasons for this include:

  • It matches the styling of other MOBA wikis (like Summoner's Rift in League of Legends).
  • It differentiates it from the minimap.
  • It differentiates it from other maps in the game (like the training map)
  • It flows better in a lot of articles, without impeding the flow others (though a redirect is left in case you understandably want to call it "The Map" in another articles, since that is shorter)

If these reasons are addressed somehow else, or if there are more important reasons to move it back to "Map", then feel free to do so.--OwenCMYK (talk) 12:40, 22 November 2024 (UTC)

I disagree with this move. The Cursed Apple is New York City's nickname in-game, which happens to be the setting which the game matches take place in. The Cursed Apple name has not been referenced in patch notes, and only the map itself is referred to when talking about changes to it. The Map article itself does exist on the league wiki, as well as the dota 2 wiki. It is only the specific map name itself that gets their own articles, of which League has many. It does not need to differentiate from the minimap, because that is a top down representation of the game world map. Sylphoid (talk) 23:14, 26 November 2024 (UTC)

The amount of health described or the amount of melee attacks required appear to be wrong. 100 damage per heavy melee and 500 health means five heavy melee attacks to get to the looping window, but it's actually four attacks to get there. I'm not sure if it's the heavy melee damage or health of the machine that's wrong though.

The number of buffs is also wrong, since it now gives four buffs if you finish it with a heavy melee. Cicero (talk) 23:02, 14 August 2025 (UTC)

The Sinner's Sacrifice has 500 health counting the last hit, as it deals 100 damage regardless if it's a light or heavy melee. The wording in the article needs to be fixed though, and you are correct about the number of buffs. --Gammaton32 (talk) 23:43, 14 August 2025 (UTC)

Rejuvenator no longer gives buffs

Since the nov 21 2025 patch the rejuv no longer grants buffs to my knowledge. Has no one gotten around to removing it from the 10M events tab or is there a reason why its still there?
