| I've heard different opinions on Vyper's accent, but I'm not American so I can't say for sure. The only in-game reference calls it Midwest, but if there's enough reason to say it's a different accent or should have another name, maybe that could be added under trivia. --Gammaton32 (talk) 05:41, 30 August 2025 (UTC) | | I've heard different opinions on Vyper's accent, but I'm not American so I can't say for sure. | With all the references Vyper makes to Long Island, Staten Island, NJ, and NY, and the fact her lore says she's done time in every tri state area prison; I'd say she's from the New York Tri state area. I live in this area and she definitely sounds like some of the people around here, I don't really hear the Midwest accent at all from her. And on the topic of the Mina quote, Mina is also from New York, but from the upper class. Her calling Vyper's accent "Midwest" is her being a class snob, not a literal geographical statement. She's using it as a dismissive insult to label Vyper as common and uncultured, not part of "proper" New York. --LVL (talk) 15:36, 30 August 2025 (UTC)
