 In ''Deadlock'', there are two opposing teams in the game, each consisting of 6 players. Each team serves either the [[Archmother]] or the [[Hidden King]] who seek to use the players to complete a ritual and fully realize their existence into the physical world.
-In Standard and [[Street Brawl]], players cannot choose the team they fight for, as this is decided at the start of every match by the matchmaking engine, whereas in Bot Matches, the players' team will always be The Hidden King.
