== Summary ==
20 years before the ritual takes place,<ref>[[Ivy's visual novel|Ivy's Visual Novel]] - [[Ivy's visual novel/Transcription#Chapter 1 - Career Day|Chapter 1]] - {{PageRef|name=Ivy}}: ''"For the past 20 years I was so focused on cleaning up Spanish Harlem, I never really thought about what to do when I was finished."''</ref> the Arroyos were a small family that lived in Spanish Harlem while it was under [[The Mendoza Syndicate|Mendoza]]'s control. One day, Sophia Arroyo and one of her parents were attacked in the streets by thugs, but were saved by {{HeroIcon|Ivy}}, who was then adopted by the Arroyos. For the next 18 years, Ivy spent her life fighting against the Mendoza Syndicate to free Spanish Harlem for the Arroyos.<ref name=":0">{{PageRef|name=Ivy}}'s background</ref>

In the current day, the Arroyos live happily with Ivy in a Mendoza-free Spanish Harlem. Carlos and Maria had a son named "Manny", while Sophia was heading off for college.
