Troopers, also colloquially called Creeps, are common offensive units summoned by the Patron. They are the primary force for pushing lanes and Souls Soul farming throughout the game.

Overview
Troopers appear to be small humanoid automata with a large burning candle atop their head. In combat, the amount of wax on the candle directly reflects the amount of health a trooper has. There are 3 types of basic troopers: Ranged Troopers, Melee Troopers and Medic Troopers. Each trooper wave has 2 Ranged, 1 Melee and 1 Medic.

Troopers serve as the primary means to pushing lanes, appearing in waves of 4 every 30 seconds; after 20 minutes, this spawn time is reduced to 25 seconds. Initially the waves consist of 3 Ranged Troopers and 1 Medic Trooper; after 5 minutes they become 2 Ranged, 1 Melee and 1 Medic. Troopers enter lanes by riding Ziplines in a vessel, which can be shot down to force them to drop early. Once on the ground, Troopers will attempt to move down the lane, attacking other enemy Troopers, Heroes and structures on the way.
Silver is a Hero in Deadlock, making her living tracking down lowlifes, but today New York’s misanthrope lycanthrope plans on summoning a god. Fortunately, her career as a bounty hunter has prepared her well for all that the ritual requires. She makes quick work of adversaries by catching them with her Entangling Bola, Boot Kicking them in the face, and finishing them off with a Slam Fire from her rifle. But inevitably, the Lycan Curse comes calling whether she likes it or not, and her foes will regret being too close when it does.

During laning phase, Troopers are also the most reliable source of Souls. Slain Troopers will drop a Soul Orb on the ground that can be picked up by nearby ally players for 60% of the soul bounty, and release a floating Soul Orb that can be confirmed or denied by players for the remaining 40% souls. Killing a Trooper with a melee attack prevents orbs from spawning and awards 100% of the value on kill.
Lilah Silver has been a werewolf for as long as she can remember, insisting that she has her Lycanthropy under control. Despite her successes as a bounty hunter, Silver struggles with alcohol, smoking, financial, and personal troubles on a daily basis, driving her to seek the Patron's help to "thrive".

Once an enemy Shrine has been destroyed, allied Troopers from that Shrine's lane gain 30% damage and health for the rest of the match, and for the Blue lane once both Shrines have been destroyed.
Silver was released on February 2, 2026 as the third winner of the Old Gods, New Blood update contest.

Trooper bounty is divided by 60% in the ground Orb and 40% in the floating Orb, or 100% on death if killed by a melee attack.
<br>

The total Soul bounty per Trooper is equal to 116 + (1.16 per min).
Loose Muzzle only hits enemies in melee range, in a cone-shaped attack that can hit multiple enemies. The range cannot be increased by items such as Sharpshooter. It has no ammo count and no reload, and does not deal headshot damage. It does proc Weapon item effects such as Ricochet.

Additionally, they are divided among nearby ally players at the rates listed in table below:
Split Shot has no effect on Loose Muzzle.

Ranged Trooper
Background
Ranged Troopers are the most common type of Trooper. They attack with a ranged weapon that has a range of m, resorting to a melee if enemies get too close.
werewolf

Melee Trooper
Silver has been a werewolf for as long as she can remember. She claims to have her Lycanthropy under control. Despite this, Silver seems unable to control her transformation due to it triggering automatically in-game without her compliance.
Melee Troopers are tougher units with trooper_melee health and a faster walk speed of trooper_melee m/s. They engage enemies with a powerful melee attack within a trooper_meleem range. Melee Troopers only start spawning after 5 minutes.

Medic Trooper
Silver tries to take bounties in alive, although her methods usually end up killing them.

Heal = (16% of hero's missing HP + 150 HP + 4 HP per minute) / Number of nearby heroes
Character interactions
Medic Packs cannot be picked up by the Trooper's own team.
* Silver is paranoid that her teammates will steal her bounties.

* Silver loathes with a passion and refuses to believe he could change from his criminal past. She believes he deserves a fate worse than death. How Silver and Shiv met each other and why Silver hates Shiv is currently unknown.
Medic Packs pickup range increases from 18m at 10 minutes to 30m at 18 minutes.
** An unfinished conversation with hints at Silver in disbelief that Grey Talon would support Shiv.

* As a heavy drinker, Silver frequents Jezebel's and is friends with Hank and . She refers to Infernus as "Fern."
Troopers are also healed by a small amount when the Medic Pack is picked up by a player.
* Silver is old friends with , referring to him as "Abe." According to Silver, they used to make "bad decisions" before Abrams became "boring."
* Silver plays in 's weekly poker games.
* Silver is implied to have been hunting for a while and hates him. Silver is also after a bounty on .
* Silver has hunted and caught so many times that Vyper's use of Petrifying Bola comes from Silver's Entangling Bola.
* Silver and get along with each other, planning to go drink whiskey together after the ritual.
* have worked with Silver in the past and have a good working relationship with her. While on the other team, they express concern over "how desperate" Silver has gotten and wish they could've helped her.
* According to , Silver's hair smells like Bourbon.

* Silver is the first hero to possess a weapon without a traditional projectile or ranged option, as her primary fire in Werewolf form swings her claws to maim enemies in melee range. She's also the first hero to have two sets of abilities.
