The Payout Gamble

The payout of Sinner's Sacrifice is intended to grant half of its souls from the melee attacks and the other half after the machine is destroyed.

However, due to how the the "payout" is handled, it is possible to gain more or less than the internal value. The following is a table of various examples of the "payout".

Minute Internal Value Souls from Heavy Melee Souls from Light Melee Final Hit 5 HM + Final Hit 8 LM + HM[1] + Final Hit
0[2] 300 → 300 30 → 30 15 → 15 150 → 150 300 300
8 325 → 325 32.5 → 33 16.25 → 16 162.5 → 162 327 323
12 337.5 → 338 33.8 → 34 16.85 → 17 169 → 169 339 339
16 350 → 350 35 → 35 17.5 → 18 175 → 175 350 354
  1. The last hit on the machine is always considered a heavy melee.
  2. Normally it is impossible to have the machine before the 8 minute mark. However, this can be seen in the Hero Testing and Explore Map modes.
