Before you save, it is good practice to summarize your changes and check for mistakes.

When editing the wikitext directly, you will see these options below the edit window:

Summary: Enter a brief description of the changes you have made (e.g., "fixed typo," "added information about abilities"). This is very important for helping other editors understand the page's history.
This is a minor edit: A checkbox for small changes like fixing a typo or correcting a link.
Show preview: This shows you what the saved page will look like. It is extremely useful for catching mistakes before you save.
Show changes: This shows a side-by-side comparison of the differences between the current version and your edited version.

When using the Visual Editor, clicking the blue "Publish changes" button will open a dialog with these options:

Summary: The same as in the source editor, this is where you describe your change.
Review your changes: This button allows you to see the wikitext differences your changes have made, similar to "Show changes" in the source editor.
This is a minor edit: A checkbox for small changes like fixing a typo or correcting a link.
