__NOTOC__
Magic Carpet is a Tier 4 Spirit Item that grants Ability Duration, Spirit Power and Bonus Health.

Magic Carpet has an active ability which can be used to summon a "Magic Carpet" that lets the using hero fly while providing a Bullet Shield and a Spirit Shield.

It can be purchased from the Shop for 6,200.
Notes
* Magic Carpet is silenced by Slowing Hex.
* Abilities using Confirm Cast or Quick Cast can be "prepared" while on the carpet, since they aren't cast until the Fire button is pressed or the ability button is released respectively.
** Vindicta's Assassinate does not cast until the Fire button is pressed, allowing her to scope in and not dismiss the carpet. Magic Carpet is affected by the ability's Move Speed limit, but also overrides the scoped camera, causing Assassinate to fire slightly left of the on-screen crosshair.

Recommended heroes
* Flight speed is capped while holding the soul urn
* Bebop

* Grey Talon
Dismissing the carpet
* Lady Geist
The following are considered "actions" and immediately dismiss the carpet:
* Seven
* Casting an ability
* Vindicta
* Using an item
* Yamato
* Attacking with a weapon
* Air-jumping or airdashing

Some abilities that can linger and deal damage after a hero uses Magic Carpet also count as an "action". For example, an enemy hero walking over a Grasping Hands line dismisses a flying Graves' carpet.

As a rule of thumb: A hero dealing single-instance damage will dismiss their carpet and most effects that deal Damage over Time will not. This rule is similar to damage that knocks heroes off of Ziplines but without damage from player-created Units.
The following abilities are notable exceptions:
* Single-Instance Damage that do not dismiss the carpet:
** Mirage: Djinn's Mark
* Player-Created Units that do not dismiss the carpet:
** Graves' Jar of Dead, Grasping Hands (Ghouls), and Borrowed Decree
** Rem: Lil Helpers (Followed Troopers)
** Mcginnis:
* <abbr title="Damage over Time>DoT</abbr> or <abbr title="Damage Per Second>DPS</abbr> that will dismiss the carpet:
** Abrams: Siphon Life
** Lady Geist: Life Drain
** Paige: Bookwyrm (Trail)
** Paradox: Pulse Grenade
** Seven: Lightning Ball
** Victor: Aura of Suffering
