Objects that have attained sentience are present and numerous. The {{PageRef|Soul Urn}} is one of these and is capable of talking, smelling and hearing despite not appearing to have anything that would allow it to. The Soul Urn remarks that it has a cousin who's a shredder and an acquaintance that's a censer. There appear to be several subgroups of animated objects, such as Gargoyles (e.g. {{HeroIcon|Ivy}}) who are statues who gained life through unknown means<ref>{{ConvoCite|hero1=Ivy|hero2=Victor|number=1}}</ref>, and Golems who are "created with a mixture of craftsmanship, willpower and sacrifice".<ref>{{ConvoCite|hero1=Bebop|hero2=Kelvin|number=2|hero_quote1=Bebop|quote1=I was summoned into existence by an act of craftsmanship, willpower and sacrifice.
