Maximilian Fairfax

Maximilian Fairfax is the CEO of Fairfax Industries, and the father of Pocket and Pocket's siblings.

He is a white middle-aged bald man with a brown beard. He has a large, muscular build, and is seen wearing a gray suit.[1]
He may have ordered Pocket's assassination,[2] which lead Pocket to go into hiding. He does not fully believe that Pocket is deceased,[1] and is after their magic suitcase.[3] Calico says Maximilian "will have questions" when she kills Pocket,[4] implying that she was the assassin hired to kill Pocket.
As the CEO of Fairfax Industries, Maximilian is the employer of McGinnis and Wrecker. Maximilian "paraded McGinnis incessantly" to the New York elite when he first discovered her as a genius teenage inventor.[5]
Maximilian was an acquaintance of Professor Dynamo, who is Pocket's godfather.[6]
According to Haze and McGinnis, Maximilian values his legacy more than his money.[7]
Maximilian donated "a small fortune" to New York orphanages in December. He said to the New York Oracle that "no one should be without family on the holidays".[8]
Paradox claims to have blackmail on Fairfax, which will be exhibited in the Paradox Gallery.[9]
A possible ending for The Binding of Oathkeeper has Lady Geist transferring Oathkeeper to Maximilian. Maximilian wants to "change the world" with Oathkeeper's help.[1]
