The Municipal Coven makes sure the streets of New York stay safe and tidy.
Overview
[edit | edit source]The New York Municipal Coven work as the primary caretakers of New York. Their main priority is to keep the city clean, one of the notable examples being disposing of souls through Spirit Urns. The Municipal Coven oftentimes tasks "runners" to deliver the urns to designated delivery locations for a safe and speedy disposal.
It's assumed that the Coven primarily consists of witches or those who practice witchcraft, as a coven is a formal term for the structured gathering of witches.[1]
The Soul Urn is property, or rather a "worker", of the Municipal Coven.
During the festive season, the Municipal Coven were looking for volunteers to spend time with stray familiars in their Soho shelter. [2]

Trapper is a Municipal Coven employee. His duties include building Spirit Urns, luring giant rats, and capturing invasive species from other realms.[3] Staff were given the option to work on Maelstrom day, which Trapper volunteered to do.[4]
Trapper believes the Municipal Coven needs to be respected more.[5]
Holliday[6] and the 
Shopkeeper[7] respect what the Municipal Coven does for the city.
The Municipal Coven seems to accept donations.[8]
