Rem is a small biped furry creature with the proportions of a human toddler. His body is covered in black fur. He has a short beak for a mouth, large round fully white eyes, and tall cat-like ears, the inside of which is purple with a drifting star pattern. He has 4-fingered hands, his feet are digitigrade paws with 3 toes, and he has a long thin tail ending in a tuft of fur. He wears pyjamas consisting of a jacket and a cone hat with a blue, pink and purple wavy stripes pattern, with patches on the back of the jacket. He carries his blue lucky pillow and a golden pocket watch with a crescent moon pendant. His weapon is a blue-green candle from which he shoots wispy projectiles.

The {{AbilityIcon|Lil Helpers}} are smaller spherical creatures who, like Rem, have black fur, big round white eyes, tall ears, and a cone hat. They have flat feet.

Rem's hybrid anatomy of bird and mammal resembles that of a wingless [[wikipedia:Griffin|Griffin]] or [[wikt:keythong|Keythong]] in ancient mythology.
