'''Scaling''' refers to [[Stats]] or properties of [[Abilities]] and [[Items]] that increase incrementally based on another stat. This includes:

== Overview ==
Scaling is represented by an upwards arrow icon, indicating the scaling type, and a coefficient value next to it indicating how much the stat is multiplied by. The multiplied scaling value is added to the stat's base value. For example, an ability that's listed as "20 {{Ss|0.5}} damage", at 10 [[Spirit Power]], deals 25 damage (20 + (0.5 * 10)).

The player can see how much value is added by the scaling by holding Tab or Alt.

== List of scaling types ==
* {{PI|compact=yes}} [[Boon]] scaling
* {{PI|compact=yes}} [[Boon]] scaling
* {{Ss|compact=yes}} [[Spirit Power]] scaling
* {{Ss|compact=yes}} [[Spirit Power]] scaling
* [[File:Weapon scaling.png|30px|Weapon Damage]] [[Weapon Damage]] scaling
* [[File:Weapon scaling.png|30px|Weapon Damage]] [[Weapon Damage]] scaling
* [[File:Melee scaling.png|30px|Melee Damage]] [[Melee Damage]] scaling*
* [[File:Melee scaling.png|30px|Melee Damage]] [[Melee Damage]] scaling
<nowiki>*</nowiki> For practical purposes, melee damage abilities on the wiki are displayed with the melee scaling at base level already applied, unlike other scaling types.

== Abilities with non-standard scaling ==
The scaling type of an ability is usually the same as its damage type, but there are exceptions:

* {{HeroIcon|Holliday}}'s {{AbilityIcon|Crackshot}} scales with Spirit Power but deals Weapon Damage.
* {{HeroIcon|Paradox}}'s {{AbilityIcon|Kinetic Carbine}} scales with Weapon Damage but deals [[Spirit Damage]]. It also scales from her base weapon damage instead of bonus weapon damage.

The scaling type is indicated by the icon next to the scaling integer, while the damage type is indicated by the icon next to the damage value.

Scaling is represented by a number next to the scaling icon, which indicates how much the stat is multiplied by. The scaling value is added to the stat's base value. The player can see how much value is added by the scaling by holding Tab.
