Not much is known about ''Shadowline''. It was presumably a transitional version from ''[[Neon Prime]]'' to the ''Deadlock'' [[The Cursed Apple|Cursed Apple]] setting that existed in 2022-2023. The web domain ''playshadowline.com'' and twitter account ''@PlayShadowline'' were registered in November 2023.

In this version, the [[ziplines]] were called "shadowlines",<ref name=":0">{{VoiceLineCite|name=Shopkeeper|file=Guide the map lanes.mp3|transcription=There are four lanes, each with a shadowline that players can ride to move quickly.}}</ref> and [[Astral Gates]] were "shadowline nexus". The shadowlines were presumably based on [[wikipedia:Ley_line|ley lines]].
