The Outer Planes include Ixia[1] and the Patron's plane.[2] Some souls of humans move to an Outer Plane after death.[3]
The US is currently sending aid to the Outer Planes due to the military campaign in Ixia.[4][1]
An exhibit at the Met is due to open up showing off artifacts from the Outer Planes.[5]
The New York Astral Gate has led to extraplanar invasive species appearing in the city.[6]
Astral Plane Canned Mille-Pattes Dazzle ("mille-pattes" is French for "centipede") are advertised as The World's Most Popular Delicacy.

That is the plane that characters that we refer to as 'demons' would have historical roots in. That being said though, at this time in the world of Deadlock there are plenty of Ixians that are born on Earth: Infernus and Grey Talon's daughter-in-law (RIP). There are military operations happening in Ixia right now."
