Duncan Naoki Drummond, a.k.a Hopoo, is a Deadlock developer. Their Discord username is @hopoo.
Duncan was the co-founder of Hopoo Games and has since been hired by Valve, along with other former Hopoo Games' staff.[1]
Duncan is the lead developer of the heroes Viper and Magician.[2]

- Duncan created the game Deadbolt at Hopoo Games, released in 2016. Coincidentally, "deadbolt" is a synonym for "deadlock".[3]
- Deadbolt and Deadlock both feature a plot about supernatural creatures arriving on Earth, demons, candle people, a fire-themed patron god, a currency called "souls", and a character named Amber.
