Maximilian Fairfax in The Binding of Oathkeeper.
- You are a man with powerful enemies.
- I have enemies. "Powerful" is a bit generous.

Lady Geist and Maximilian Fairfax

Maximilian Fairfax is the CEO of Fairfax Industries, and the father of Pocket and Pocket's siblings.

Background

He is a white middle-aged bald man with a brown beard. He has a large, muscular build, and is seen wearing a gray suit.[1]

He may have ordered Pocket's assassination,[2] which lead Pocket to go into hiding. He does not fully believe that Pocket is deceased,[1] and is after their magic suitcase.[3]

As the CEO of Fairfax Industries, Maximilian is the employer of McGinnis and Wrecker. Maximilian "paraded McGinnis incessantly" to the New York elite when he first discovered her as a genius teenage inventor.[4]

Maximilian was an acquaintance of Professor Dynamo, and they had a group of friends called "the Squid Boys".[5]

Maximilian donated "a small fortune" to New York orphanages in December. He said to the New York Oracle that "no one should be without family on the holidays".[6]

A possible ending for The Binding of Oathkeeper has Lady Geist transferring Oathkeeper to Maximilian. Maximilian wants to "change the world" with Oathkeeper's help.[1]
