I've done some testing and I'm not sure what this note is supposed to mean. Adjusted it for more clarity on how the damage actually sems to work. Additionally, added some clarification on the known bug based on some testing.
1st: Made the explanation about the 50% conditional damage make more sense after doing a lot more testing, 2nd: added info about how the damage is calculated for secondary targets and 3rd.: fixed a minor spelling mistake(it happens)

Mystic Reverb is a Tier 4 Spirit Item that provides Spirit Lifesteal.

It has a passive that allows an imbued ability to Slow the target and nearby enemies on hit, then after a brief delay, deals half of the imbued ability's damage to the target and enemies near the target.

It can be purchased from the Shop for Souls6,400.

Notes

  • The debuff effect is applied to the first enemy hit. If the imbued ability is an area-of-effect and it hits multiple heroes, only one enemy will receive the debuff.

Notable Interactions

  • Mystic Reverb can be imbued on Lady Geist's Soul Exchange, but it has no effect.
  • The debuff can store damage from items like Quicksilver Reload or Tankbuster on the imbued ability.
  • The conditional damage cannot in any ways be reduced bellow the 50% threshold that it is meant to do, but it can be increased after the attack and before the 3 second damage delay.
  • The damage to secondary targets after its delay is dealt based not on how much damage the primary target took but how much damage the secondary target would take which does take into account how much spirit resistance they have.

Known Bugs

  • The initial reverb damage can kill the primary target, but is sometimes non-lethal to secondary targets, leaving them with at least 1 hp remaining. This seems to mainly happen against Target Dummies in Sandbox
