| You enter a void state and become untargetable and invincible for a short duration, during which you float slowly and cannot perform actions. Afterwards you gain Spirit Power, Move Speed, and Spirit Resist. Can be canceled early. Activation cancels any active ability.

Ethereal Shift is a Tier 4 Spirit Item.
Ethereal Shift has an active ability which can be used to become Ethereal and nearly immobile for a short duration. Afterwards, the activating hero gains bonus Movement Speed, Spirit Power, and Spirit Resist.
It can be purchased from the Shop for 6,000.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- During ethereal shift, caster can only float around slowly at 3 m/s. Caster does not fall if mid-air.
- Casting ethereal shift does not reset jump/dash, even if mid-air when cast.
- Casting ethereal shift cancels any abilities currently being channeled.
- During ethereal shift, caster can still turn their camera and character.
- During ethereal shift, the caster's allies can still target them with abilities and items like
Rescue Beam or 
Bebop's Grapple Hook, allowing for heals and/or repositioning.
