The Baxter Society is a well-known international monster hunting organization.

Summary

The Baxter Society was formed sometime after the First Maelstrom, with Grey Talon as one of the founding members. The society has been operating for over 40 years, hunting monsters across the globe.[1] Currently, ShivShiv is the only named active Baxter Society member, with Grey Talon and Calico being former members.

Instead than hunting all magical creatures, the Baxter Society specifically hunts monsters that prey on humanity.[1] This can extend to hunting humans, as Grey Talon mentions that the society likely would have hunted Lady GeistLady Geist if they knew about her deal with Oathkeeper.[2] It's also mentioned that, while they currently aren't hunting them, the Baxter Society would likely hunt down FathomFathom and SevenSeven.[3][4] The Baxter Society have been hunting DrifterDrifter for years, but have been unsuccessful at killing him.[5][6][7]
