Ixia is another plane of existence from ours, connected to Earth through Astral gates.
Summary
South Ixia is the 52nd state of the United States. [1] North Ixia is a battleground.[2]
Wrecker is known as The Butcher of Ixia.[3] He fought in the fields of North Ixia.[2]
Ixia is a tourism destination.[4]
Ixians
Ixians are the origin of what was historically known as Demons. After the first Maelstrom, some Ixians have emmigrated to Earth.[5]
Some Ixians have a supernatural control of fire, manifested in 
Infernus and in 
Grey Talon's daughter-in-law. Even though 
Abrams is an Ixian[6], he isn't currently known to have control over fire.
Ixians may have horns and blue skin, but not all of them do.
