Active Reload is a Tier 2 Weapon Item that grants additional Max Ammo. Its passive effect causes a portion of the reload bar to become highlighted. If the player presses their reload button again while in this highlighted section, their reload will immediately finish and they will gain bonus Fire Rate and Bullet Lifesteal for a few seconds. If the player presses the reload button while outside the highlighted section, the item will fail to reload. The item only goes into cooldown once the effect is activated.
The duration of the Active Reload activation window is always 0.3s. The highlighted section changes size proportionately to the hero's Reload Time.
It can be purchased from the Shop for 1,600.
Notable Interactions
Vyper benefits from this item to have the smallest downtime to use her ammo sliding synergy.
McGinnis can use this item to offset her long reload time.
