Blackmore seems to be an upper-class school exclusively for wealthy students.[5] 
Krill descibes Blackmore Academy as "the breeding ground for Manhattan's finest narcissists".[6]
Graves and Apollo are each other's lab partners.[7]
Blackmore students are implied to frequent Jezebel's, even though they legally can't drink alcohol.[8] 
Infernus regularly has to kick them out of the bar,[9] which once happened to Mina on her 16th birthday.[10][11]
