Cheat Death is a Tier 4 Vitality Item that grants the hero bonus Health and Bullet Resist.

It has a passive that makes the player immune to death for 4.5s when they would take lethal damage (health reduced to 0), but also makes them weaker while the effect is active.

It can be purchased from the Shop for  6,400.

Overview

When the player dies with Cheat Death, a visual effect of a scythe and a contract that reads "Savor your moments, cheat the end, but remember - Death always collects what is owed" appears above the player's head.

Trivia

• Cheat Death has the same name and similar effect to one of the abilities of the unreleased hero Rutger.
• Cheat Death's icon has been redesigned multiple times: Originally it showed a hand holding 5 aces in a poker game against Death, then as a person kicking the door of a coffin, and currently is a hand holding 5 aces including a skull suit.
