Fairfax Industries has a lot to answer for.

Viscous

Fairfax Industries is an arms manufacturing corporation in Deadlock. They produce weapon items.

Overview

Fairfax crates

Fairfax Industries is a company in the occult industrial complex that specialises in spirit weaponry,[1] headed by Maximilian Fairfax.[2] As Maximilian's eldest heir, Pocket was in line to inherit the company before an attempt was made on their life. Fairfax Industries is described as an "avarice-fueled viper's nest".[3]

They used to have sovereignty of the 50th state of the US, the island of Cadenza, which they are currently trying to regain.[4] According to McGinnis, Fairfax was calm during the "Cadenza situation", as he knew that legislation would eventually catch up to him. He's also proud for having created one of the United States. His employees at the time were "rattled", and McGinnis thought she would lose her job.[5]

They are currently under sanction by the Environmental Protection Agency for improperly disposing of spiritual waste.[6]

Various Fairfax-branded crates can be found across the Cursed Apple. Some stores have curtains with an "FF" logo.

A statue of Walter Fairfax, presumably an ancestor of Pocket and Maximilian, can be found in the garden behind the Baroness Hotel.

Fairfax Industries has a publishing arm called Fairfax Books. Dynamo carries one of their books in his bag.

Fairfax Industries has made a map of New York's subway lines, which can be seen in the subway tunnels.

Eldritch Tactical Solutions

Eldritch Tactical Solutions, or ETS, is a Paranormal Military Company and a subsidiary of Fairfax Industries. Its workers are known as "soldiers of fortune". The New York Oracle states that it has been accused of committing war crimes by previous employees.[7]

Pocket wants to dismantle ETS.[8]

Workers

  • Arin "Pocket" Fairfax - Eldest heir to the corporation. Presumed dead after a failed assassination attempt 5 years ago

Trivia

  • Fairfax's motto is "All's Fair!", a reference to the idiom "All's fair in love and war".
  • The Fairfax logo in the shop tab uses an edited version of the DayPosterBlack font.
