Melee damage [[Scaling|scales]] with [[Boon]]s and [[Item]]s. It also scales with the [[Weapon Damage]] stat at a rate of 50%. Most abilities and items with weapon damage effects also affect melee damage, but there are exceptions such as {{ItemIcon|Metal Skin}}.
All heroes have the same base melee damage and scaling, with a few exceptions:
