The speed that Rescue Beam pulls targets is typically fastest at the start. The peak speed is also dependent on distance from the puller; the further you go, the faster your peak speed will be. At the max range of 34 meters, the peak speed is ~1700 u/s. This peak speed is only maintained for a fraction of a second. The target will decelerate in speed until next to the puller.

Rescue Beam is a Tier 3 Vitality Item that provides Sprint Speed and Ability Range.

Rescue Beam has an active effect which heals a targeted allied hero and the item user over a duration. During the heal, the item holder can drag the targeted hero to their current location.

It can be purchased from the Shop for Souls3,200, with its Component, Healing Rite, making up Souls800 of the cost.

Movement

At any range, Rescue Beam will fully pull your target towards you in one second. To achieve this, the further you are, the faster Rescue Beam will pull you.

Notes

  • If self-cast, the item holder cannot pull themselves, and only one of two heals will be received.
  • Rescue Beam is a channel, and can be cancelled by Stun and Interrupt, ending the heal and preventing the use of the pull. Targets already being pulled will continue to be pulled.
    • Silence does not interrupt Rescue Beam, as it has no effect on items or channels.
  • Allies will be moved to the current location of the item holder over the duration of the pull, not where the pull was activated.
