Scaling refers to Stats or properties of Abilities and Items that increase incrementally based on another stat.
Overview
Scaling is represented by an arrow icon, indicating the scaling type, and a number next to it indicating how much the stat is multiplied by. The scaling value is added to the stat's base value. For example, an ability that's listed as "20 x0.5 damage", at 10 Spirit Power, deals 25 damage (20 + (0.5 * 10)).
The player can see how much value is added by the scaling by holding Tab or Alt.
Most scaling properties have effects based on the stat they scale from. However, there may be exceptions such as Paradox's Kinetic Carbine, which scales off Weapon Damage but deals Spirit Damage.
