Items are in-game equipment that provide Heroes with bonus attributes and special abilities. There are currently 156 items available for purchase from any Curiosity Shop on the game map.
Items are split into four tiers based on their price. All items within a tier have the same price. If an item has a component, the player gets a discount equal to the price of the component if they had purchased it first. If an item is a component to multiple items, the player only receives a discount on the first upgraded item.
Purchased items can be sold back to the shop, allowing the player to recoup half of the cost.
Heroes start with eight item slots in their inventory which can hold an item of any type. Additionally, there are four Extra Slots that can be unlocked after completing certain map objectives. The Souls of each item will be added up per item type and a bonus will be given for each type. The strength of the bonus is dependent on the sum of the souls and the bonus for each type caps at 28,800 Souls.
Weapon: Focus on improving base weapons, damage, and bullet effects.
Vitality: Focus on improving survivability, defense, and movement.
Spirit: Focus on improving abilities and spirit power.
Active Items provide additional, temporary effects when activated by a key press. Upon being purchased, they must be bound to one of four individual keys for activation. As a result, a player cannot hold more than four active items at a time.
Launch a projectile that deals damage, applies a strong slow that recovers over time, prevents Stamina usage and Silences their movement-based items and abilities.
Purge all non-ultimate negative effects currently applied to you. If any effects were removed, heal yourself and gain a move speed bonus. Cannot be used while Stunned or Slept.
Remove all non-stun debuffs from the target and provide them with a Barrier and Move Speed. Can be self-cast. Cooldown is reduced by half when cast on someone else.
You enter a void state and become untargetable and invincible for a short duration, during which you float slowly and cannot perform actions. Afterwards you gain Spirit Power, Move Speed, and Spirit Resist. Can be canceled early. Activation cancels any active ability.
Grants Fire Rate, Spirit Resistance and Move Speed, and removes the Move Speed penalty while shooting, but Silences you and disables stamina usage and regeneration.
Summon a Magic Carpet that will fly you away. While flying you are immune to slows and doing any action will dismiss the carpet. Cannot use abilities while the carpet is being summoned.
Apply Spirit Resist, Debuff Resist and an aura on a friendly target that deals damage to enemies proportional to their max health. Existing debuffs on the target are reduced. Can be self cast.
Slows movement of enemy target. Also Silences their movement-based items and abilities. Increases the target's gravity. Does not affect target's stamina usage.
Consume a concoction that grants you Unstoppable and increased speed, health, spirit and weapon damage. After a short duration you die and explode, stunning nearby enemies and dealing damage based on your maximum health. Dying this way reduces your respawn time by 50%.
