Vents (not to be confused with Air Vents) are small shortcut passages that can lead from one area of the map to another, or to a network of underground tunnels between different vents.
Overview
Vents are only accessible by specific characters, and they cannot enter while in combat (taking or dealing damage) or while carrying the 
Soul Urn.
The following heroes can access vents:
Rem, when crouching
Calico in 
Ava form
Grey Talon's 
Guided Owl
Mo & Krill during 
Burrow
While in the tunnels, characters gain a 70% boost to their Move Speed. Sprint speed is not multiplied by the tunnel boost.
If a hero requires an ability to enter vents and navigate small tunnels, they start rapidly taking damage if the ability's duration runs out inside the vent or tunnel and instantly transform back upon leaving to a wider area.
Crates can be found inside tunnels, and cockroaches that can be killed for
