Quicksilver Reload is a Tier 2 Spirit Item that can be purchased from the Shop for 1,600.

Notes

Quicksilver Reload is a Charge-Up item, thus not affected by Cooldown Reduction.
Quicksilver Reload's bonus Spirit Damage will only trigger when the imbued ability first deals Weapon Damage or Spirit Damage to the target. If the initial damage is reduced to 0 (rounded down) or only deals Pure Damage (i.e. Lady Geist's Soul Exchange), Quicksilver Reload's bonus Spirit Damage is not applied.
Abilities that do not deal damage still trigger the instant reload and bonus Fire Rate effects.
The passive buff has a fixed duration of 12 seconds and is not affected by cooldown reduction.

Heroes with a long Reload Time and/or quick-charging or multi-charge abilities can make good usage of Quicksilver:

McGinnis with multiple Mini Turret charges
Infernus with multiple Napalm charges
Lash Flog heals a percentage of damage dealt and otherwise struggles to scale its damage early
Wraith can repetitively fuel her firing duration with consistent use of Card Trick to extend her magazine and generate more Cards
Vindicta Crow Familiar has a short cooldown after its T2 upgrade
Mo & Krill Scorn has a short cooldown and heals a percentage of damage dealt
Warden Alchemical Flask can help Warden avoid his long Reload Time

"Quicksilver" is an alternate/archaic name for the element mercury, a metal most characterized by being the only metallic element to stay in a liquid state at room temperature.
- The fluidity and "speed" of quicksilver compared to other metals is how it got its other name, in reference to the fastest planet which was named after the Roman god Mercury, and is reflected by Quicksilver Reload's increased speed and fluidity of the player's magazine.
- The mercury connections continue with Mercurial Magnum, as the word "mercurial" is derived from the word mercury.
