Kelvin: I'm already dead, so the stakes are a little lower.

Ivy: Makes sense.

 Lady Geist Yes Kelvin: I never got to say thank you for you patronage, Lady Geist.

Lady Geist: Sarcasm doesn't suit you, Kelvin.

Kelvin: I'm serious! Obviously, the expedition didn't go as planned, but we wouldn't have had the opportunity were it not for your funding.

Lady Geist: What happened?

Kelvin: I don't know. But I intend to find out.

Kelvin: You seem to be short on friends, Lady Geist.

Lady Geist: I don't need friends. That's what money is for.

Kelvin: That way of thinking is a fast path to a lonely life. You'll realize that when you're older.

Lady Geist: Kelvin, believe me when I tell you that you have no idea what you're talking about.

Kelvin: I don't know. I tried to find him when I returned to New York, but it's like he's vanished.

Lady Geist: Well, he was rather rude. So I say "good riddance".

Kelvin: I wish I could share that sentiment.

Kelvin: This glowing rock could be the only thing keeping me alive, so I'm not risking taking it off.

Lash: The Lash rejects the premise of your argument.

Kelvin: I'm not making an argument, I'm asking you to be nicer.

Lash: Kelvin... were you there when I broke someone's left arm because they were right-handed? Or when I pointed out that a woman's baby looked stupid wearing a headband bow? The Lash needs to be nicer?! No. The Lash is a humanitarian through-and-through!

Vindicta: A while. People always ask me about adapting to technology but, really, the language was the hardest. For a while, I felt lost. But I was able to find my way, and my purpose.
