Sinclair are Heroes in Deadlock. With their trusty magic wand, they can shoot unpredictable Bolts to surprise enemies and use magic to turn them into Rabbits. The Spectral Assistant amplifies their damage and can serve as a fast escape route. Sinclair can even turn their enemies' abilities against themselves with their surprising final trick, Audience Participation.

Magician
Henry and Savannah were two young stage magicians in love, who bound their souls to each other for eternity. However, their relationship was strained after a tragic on-stage accident claimed both of their lives. Now, under the shared title of Sinclair, they seek a way to be separated and find peace in the afterlife.

If a hero is hexed during a heavy punch animation, the punch is not interrupted.
There's currently a bug in which damage dealt by enemies in rabbit form also counts as damage from Sinclair, appearing as if Sinclair dealt "friendly fire" damage to teammates.

Audience Participation - Notes
The "Upgrade" effect determines what Tier level the copied ultimate will be. (The ultimate that is copied will be restricted to however many upgrade Tiers Sinclair has unlocked.)
Sinclair has a 1s delay to use the target ultimate after copying.
Sinclair can use Audience Participation even if the target enemy hasn't unlocked their ultimate yet.
If Spectral Assistant is active, Sinclair can use the teleport ability while copying an ultimate.
Sinclair only copies the properties of the ultimate, which can make it weaker compared to the original hero. For example, when copying Haze's Bullet Dance, they will deal less damage due to their lower fire rate and lack of the Fixation passive ability.
Sinclair gets permanent bonus health from kills or assists with Mo & Krill's Combo, and permanent bonus spirit power from kills with Grey Talon's Guided Owl.
Audience Participation has instant cooldown if Sinclair kills an enemy with Shiv's Killing Blow T3.
Audience Participation has instant cooldown if Sinclair copies Vindicta's Assassinate, due to its charges. However, Assassinate loses a charge each time Sinclair copies and uses it again, and goes on cooldown at zero charges.
Sinclair gets Shiv's Rage passive if they copy Killing Blow, dealing bonus damage when at full Rage. The Rage lasts until Sinclair either loses Killing Blow or Rage goes down to zero. However, if Sinclair copies Killing Blow again, they will still have the remaining built-up Rage from the last copy, allowing them to reach full Rage faster.
Sinclair can't use Killing Blow to kill Shiv, as the damage from the ultimate is deferred by Shiv's Bloodletting.
Henry's parents told him he was too young and impulsive to mess with real magic, and so they gave him a deck of cards to play with. He took to sleight of hand naturally and soon was dazzling his classmates with fantastic feats of illusions that were done without mystic artifacts or incantation.
When he was in high school he met Savannah, and their mutual love of stage magic sparked a whirlwind romance. Soon they fell in love and created an act together. Obviously they were meant to be; and so at prom, Henry proposed to Savannah and they married soon after graduation.
Unsurprisingly both sets of parents were not thrilled at this prospect, but Henry and Savannah knew they were soulmates. And so they cemented their love for one another by having a blood mystic bind their souls for eternity.
When an on-stage accident claimed both their lives, no one was sure who to blame. Henry claims Savannah was out of position. Savannah says Henry didn't wait for his cue. But one thing's for sure, since their souls are tied to each other neither one of them have been able to move on. Now a bickering pair of ghosts, Henry and Savannah need to work together if they want to have any chance of undoing their eternal union.
Lore
Sinclair has two different voices, as Henry and Savannah. The character is initially controlled by Henry, then changes to Savannah once Henry dies in-game, and changes back to Henry when Savannah dies. The character who isn't controlling Sinclair plays the Spectral Assistant (though the Assistant currently only has a female model).
Sinclair's stage names are Henry the Magnificent and The Spectacular Savannah.
Both Henry and Savannah believe they are "the responsible one."[1][2]

Trivia
Sinclair's weapon was originally called Legerdemain. It was later renamed to The Prestige, presumably referencing the Christopher Nolan's movie of the same name, and then changed to its current name in the 11-02-2025 update.
Sinclair's current design is based on one of the scrapped designs for Wraith. It is also used in a Metal Skin advert.
Sinclair's lead developer is Hopoo,[3] best known as the co-creator of the Risk of Rain series.
The Spectral Assistant uses a modified Lady Geist model.
