Vyper is a Hero in Deadlock. After Slithering across the battlefield to swiftly avoid enemy attacks while spraying them with copious amount of bullets, Vyper can inject retreating foes with Lethal Venom to finish them off and use her Screwjab Dagger to hit faraway targets. By slinging her Petrifying Bolas, Vyper will make sure that her targets won't get away from her.

Slide in, pop-pop, hit Jezebel's up for an overpriced Manhattan to celebrate.

Vyper is an impulsive outlaw that gets thrown in jail as many times as she escapes it, building a reputation among a number of criminal allies and enemies across the New Jersey Tri-State Area.

Vyper was added to Hero Labs as "Viper" on October 24, 2024, and officially released on January 17, 2025.

Trivia

Vyper's current appearance is a modified version of Neon Prime's Kali. Vyper's files also replaced some of Kali's original files.
Vyper's lead developer is Hopoo,^[3] best known as the co-creator of the Risk of Rain series.
A work-in-progress Vyper redesign model was leaked in May 2025. This model had a Cobra hood, a snake body instead of legs, no clothes, and a "WIP" sticker on the back.
- Ironically, real vipers don't have a hood.
Before the 2025-10-02 Update, Vyper was the only hero who started with an unlocked ability by default (Slither).
According to her voice actress Stephanie Kerbis, Vyper is "not from Wisconsin or New Jersey".^[1]
"Making Pruno in the Hideout" is displayed as one's status in the in-game Friends List when playing as Vyper in the Hideout.
