Mystic Shot is a Tier 2 Weapon Item that grants increased Weapon Damage and Spirit Power. It states that it's passive effect causes the next bullet fired to deal additional Spirit Damage. The actual effect of the item sometimes creates an additional bullet instead that mimics the current Hero's weapon but deals Spirit Damage.

Mechanics
The item provides a passive effect that creates an additional bullet when the hero shoots their weapon, and the additional bullet will mimic the bullets created by the current weapon.
If the hero uses an alternate-fire such as Viscous Deep Sea Interpreter's alternate fire, the Mystic bullet will appear the same but cannot deal damage in an area. Instead, it only deals the Spirit damage to the closest enemy to impact.
If the hero fires multiple bullets at once such as Abrams shooting Case Closed, the Mystic bullet fires directly towards the cursor without spread. On the other hand if the weapon shooting has inherent spread such as McGinnis continuously shooting Services Rendered then the Mystic bullet will follow the trajectory of another bullet and not always directly towards the cursor.
The additional Mystic bullet cannot deal critical (headshot) damage and does not get applied by Ricochet. Because the Mystic bullet hits before regular bullets, Crippling Headshot's Spirit Resist reduction is applied after Mystic Shot's damage even if the bullet is a headshot.
The Mystic bullet follows the same rules of damage falloff as normal bullets, and gain additional range from Sharpshooter.
Notes
- The additional spirit damage occurs before the bullet damage. This is relevant for items such as
Bullet Resist Shredder, since the spirit damage will activate the negative bullet resist effect, amplifying the bullet damage. - The bonus spirit damage is able to activate the
Mystic Burst. However, this requires some additional spirit, since the base mystic shot damage is below the threshold to activate mystic burst. Similarly, mystic shot is able to activate the effect of 
Improved Burst, but requires significantly more spirit to get to the threshold spirit damage for activation.
