Arin Fairfax, the eldest heir to Fairfax Industries, has been living in hiding for the past 5 years after being shot and left for dead on their 18th birthday. Arin doesn't know who is trying to keep them from taking control of their parent's company... but in the avarice fueled viper's nest that is Fairfax Industries it could be anyone.
Taking on the name "Pocket", Arin desperately wants to keep their true identity a secret… not only for their own protection; but because they want to forge their own identity separate from their parents.
Overview
Pocket's motivation in the ritual is to stop their father, Maximilian Fairfax,[1][2] and to take control of Fairfax Industries.[3][4]
Pocket believes their father was behind their attempted assasination.[5] Pocket wants to stop their father rather than kill him.[2] Maximilian seems to know that Pocket survived, as in The Binding of Oathkeeper, he asks 
Lady Geist if she knows where Pocket is.[6] Pocket also does not trust their mother.[7]
Biography
A statue of Walter Fairfax, presumably an ancestor of Pocket, can be found in the garden behind the Baroness Hotel. Walter is depicted as an old man with frogs crawling over his legs. The statue also appears in Pocket's background in the hero select screen.
Pocket likely has at least one younger sibling, since they're described as the "eldest heir" to Fairfax Industries.
Pocket went to Blackmore Academy.[8]
Pocket was betrothed to 
Mina due to an arranged marriage.[9][10][11]
Calico was the assassin hired to kill Pocket, who survived because the bullet missed their heart.[12] It's implied that 
Enchanter's Satchel also helped Pocket survive.[13][14] Some time after the assassination, Pocket left New York before returning to participate in the ritual.[15][16]
After the assassination attempt, Pocket was protected by 
Mo & Krill[17][18] and cut ties with all people from their past life, as they didn't know who could be trusted.[19] Pocket tries their best to hide their identity, but hasn't given up on their expensive jacket.[20]
Personality
Pocket is described by others as "sad" and "angsty".[21][22][23]
Pocket dislikes their parents and is ashamed of their family's name,[2][7][24] and dislikes being seen as a kid.[25] Pocket hates those whom they perceive to be complicit with Fairfax's actions and making the world worse.[26][27]
Pocket expresses regret for killing most of their enemies and say they only chose violence as a last resort.[28][29]
Information
Pocket's magical suitcase, while powerful, was never meant to be used as a weapon.[30] Pocket is trying to keep their suitcase away from Maximilian.[31]
Character Relationships
As the assassin hired to kill Pocket, Calico enjoys "tying up loose ends" when she kills Pocket in-game.[32] She also mentions that Maximilian Fairfax will "have questions".[33] Pocket, naturally, dislikes Calico for almost killing them.[34][35]
Dynamo is Pocket's godfather. He recognizes Pocket and says he would have helped them if he knew they were alive. Pocket didn't tell Dynamo that they survived because they weren't sure if they could trust him.[19][36]
Mina hates Pocket for "ruining her life", as their assassination meant Mina couldn't become a Fairfax.[9][10][37]
Mo & Krill protected Pocket after their assassination, and they regard each other as family.[17][18][38] They love each other.[39]
Character Interactions
- Despite Pocket's desire to hide their true identity, the other characters seem to be aware of their background and refer to them as an "upstart",[40] a "trust fund baby"[41] and a "spoiled brat".[42]
