SilverGive feedback
Silver is a Hero in Deadlock, making her living tracking down lowlifes, but today New York’s misanthrope lycanthrope plans on summoning a god. Fortunately, her career as a bounty hunter has prepared her well for all that the ritual requires. She makes quick work of adversaries by catching them with her Entangling Bola, Boot Kicking them in the face, and finishing them off with a Slam Fire from her rifle. But inevitably, the Lycan Curse comes calling whether she likes it or not, and her foes will regret being too close when it does.

“Everyone makes a mistake eventually. And when they do, they're mine.
Lilah Silver has been a werewolf for as long as she can remember, insisting that she has her Lycanthropy under control. Despite her successes as a bounty hunter, Silver struggles with alcohol, smoking, financial, and personal troubles on a daily basis, driving her to seek the Patron's help to "thrive".
Silver was released on February 2, 2026 as the third winner of the Old Gods, New Blood update contest.
Weapon
Hair of the Dog reloads single shots and the reload can be interrupted.
Loose Muzzle deals damage in a close range, cone-shaped attack that can hit multiple enemies. The 7 meter falloff range cannot be increased by items such as Sharpshooter. It has no ammo count and no reload, and does not deal headshot damage.
It can activate Weapon item effects such as Ricochet. Split Shot has no effect on Loose Muzzle.
- This attack stacks Fire Rate from each confirmed hit on enemies and NPCs. The amount of fire rate gained per hit is found by dividing the Lycan Curse maximum Fire Rate by 16. The fire rate buff lasts approximately 6 seconds before resetting if no damage has been dealt with Loose Muzzle, and does not transfer to Silver when Lycan Curse ends.
Abilities
Silver is unique among heroes in having two distinct sets of abilities — one for her default (human) form and one for her transformed (werewolf) form — which swap automatically when Lycan Curse transforms her. Her ultimate, Lycan Curse, is shared between both forms and triggers the transformation.
Basic Abilities
Slam Fire
Slam Fire
Deals bonus Weapon Damage against troopers and neutrals.
- For T3 extra damage, all shots must be on the same target.
Boot Kick
Boot Kick
- Despite dealing Melee Damage, Boot Kick incorrectly uses the Spirit Damage icon in the ability UI. Only the bonus damage on marked target is spirit.
- The target is immobilized for a short time before being kicked.
- Silver can change the direction that the enemy is thrown by moving her aim after landing the kick.
Entangling Bola
Entangling Bola
- See Slowing Hex for a list of abilities and items silenced by Entangling Bola.
- T3 Ricochet has 15m range. It hits the two closest enemies to the main target, and doesn't prioritize players over NPCs.
Go For The Throat

Mauling Leap
Mauling Leap
- Despite dealing Melee Damage, Mauling Leap incorrectly uses the Spirit Damage icon in the ability UI. Only the bonus damage over time is spirit.

Ultimate Ability
Lycan Curse
Lycan Curse
Active: Instantly transform, gaining increased max health, and stacking fire rate on enemy heroes, and replacing your abilities and weapon with their ferocious versions.
- The passive feature has a 3 second delay before automatically casting Lycan Curse once bloodlust is full. The player can press the ability button to transform instantly during that delay.
- Werewolf Silver's Loose Muzzle attack deals Weapon Damage (see "Weapon/Transformed" above for more info).
- She can still do Melee Attacks, but it can be hard to tell when Werewolf Silver uses light melee since it has a similar animation to her base attack.
- Damage dealt to NPCs does not count towards Lycan Curse. However, it does generate the 1% passive buildup in combat.
- After Lycan Curse ends, Silver's weapon is automatically reloaded.
- Lycan Curse's cooldown does not begin until the transformation ends.
- Buildup notes:
- Lycan Curse bloodlust builds 0.255% per damage dealt.
- Whenever Silver is below 30% health, the bloodlust buildup is increased by +40%. This additional buildup grows by +1.8% per Boon (additively), making it +103% at max level. This bonus is applied retroactively to the existing buildup when Silver reaches the health threshold.
- The base required amount of hero-damage inflicted (not counting low health bonus) to charge Lycan Curse is 392. The damage required increases by +9.4% per Boon (additively), making it 613 at level 6 when the ultimate is unlocked, and 1682 at max level.
- Lycan Curse bloodlust also passively builds up 1% per second in combat, effectively lowering the damage required.
- Buildup is lost at the rate of -3% per second when out of combat.
Backstory
See Silver/Lore for more story content.
“Lilah Silver is a mess. She drinks too much, she smokes too much, and the less is said about her personal life the better. But despite Silver's flaws she has managed to carve out a career as a successful bounty hunter, and while she would like to think that her successes are solely because she has incredible intuition, the fact that she’s a werewolf doesn’t hurt.

Trivia
- During development, Silver was originally codenamed Shapeshifter, whose name was leaked in November 2025.[3]
- Silver had a scrapped ability where she tracked bounties during the match, as indicated by unused voicelines still in the files.
- The name of Silver's weapon, Hair of the Dog, is a shortening of the expression Hair of the Dog that Bit You, referring to alcohol consumed to lessen the effect of a hangover.
- Silver is the first hero to possess a weapon without a traditional projectile or ranged option, as her primary fire in Werewolf form swings her claws to maim enemies in melee range. She's also the first hero to have two sets of abilities.
- "Figuring Out What Happened Last Night in the Hideout" is displayed as one's status in the in-game Friends List when playing as Silver in the Hideout.
- Silver's name is an ironic reference to the fact that silver is a common weakness to werewolves. The Patrons' heralds tell the player to find silver bullets to stop an enemy Silver.[4]
- It's also a common component-word primarily to describe appearance of non-human specimen (e.g. "silver back", "silver fang", etc.).
- Silver's release date, February 2, 2026, was under a full moon, a common association with werewolves.
- Silver's hairstyle is known as a Wolf Cut, originally known as a Shag.
- Silver's name typography has the shape of a crescent moon in the "R" curve.
