“If they don't have an Achilles' heel, I'll make one.
Vindicta is a Hero in Deadlock. She is a mobile and powerful marksman, engaging and picking off her targets from a distance. Using her Crow Familiar to initiate fights by bleeding her targets, Vindicta may launch into Flight to keep her distance from enemies and tether them with a Stake in the ground while targeting them with her powerful rifle. Enemies that are near-death should fear her ability to Assassinate at long-range with a devastating sniper shot.
A girl who was accused of witchcraft and killed by John Hathorne during the Salem Witch Trials of the 1600s, Vindicta returned to this world during the first Maelstrom. Seeking to protect her fellow supernatural entities, Vindicta is waging a war against the Neo-inquisitorial "Friends of Humanity".

Flight
Flight
- Bonus spirit damage is affected by weapon damage fall-off.
- The T1 upgrade does NOT increase Vindicta's base Ammo capacity by 50%, it only increases her Ammo capacity by 50% of her base Ammo. This means that it will increase her ammo capacity by the same amount every time and will not affect other sources of Ammo increase such as Titanic Magazine.
- When killing a target with Flight active and the T3 upgrade, flight is recast, giving Vindicta a burst of speed in the air, but no additional height.
- Vindicta can melee and parry without interrupting flight, allowing her to use Counterspell.

Neither "Deflection" nor "On-Hit Prevention" on Plated Armor protect against Flight's extra spirit damage.
Assassinate
Assassinate
- Assassinate is a hitscan ability. It will hit a player instantly regardless of distance.
- Vindicta will remain scoped after firing an Assassinate shot as long as there is at least one ability charge remaining.
- The damage scales up from 50% to 100% after one second of being scoped.
- If a target dies within 4 seconds after being hit with Assassinate, Vindicta will still get the bonus weapon damage stack.
- The stun from Lightning Scroll is applied as a separate debuff. Hitting a target multiple times will apply multiple delayed stuns.
- Assassinate isn't affected by Disarm.
Street Brawl
Ability Changes
Apart from global changes, Vindicta does not have any special modifications for her abilities in Street Brawl.
Item Draft
In Street Brawl, every hero draws items from a shared pool, but some items are weighted to appear more often for a given hero and others less often. For each tier below, that tier's items are grouped by how likely they are to be offered to Vindicta: High, Average, or Low chance.
When facing Vindicta in Street Brawl, the enemy team is more likely to be offered these items as counters.
Backstory
See Vindicta/Lore for more story content.
“A victim of John Hathorne during the Salem Witch Trials, Vindicta got a second chance of life when her spirit was brought back to the mortal plane during the first Maelstrom (the event that introduced the supernatural to the public at large).
Waging a one ghost war against "The Friends of Humanity", a neo inquisition formed by Hathorne's descendants; Vindicta looks to keep the supernatural safe from Hathorne's ilk, and she isn't afraid to stack as many bodies as needed to do it.
