Apollo is a Hero in Deadlock. With Flawless Advance the fencer begins his approach, timing his strikes perfectly to inflict more damage. Counter-attacks aren't a concern for Apollo, as a flourish of his blade deflects the damage and triggers a quick Riposte, and Disengaging Sigil allows him to jump out of the fray with ease. For his final blow, Apollo dons his fencer's mask and channels Ixia's might with Itani Lo Sahn, leaving enemies defeated in his wake.

“A land of beauty, tradition and conflict; North Ixia is no stranger to brutal political violence. So when Apollo was told that it was for his own safety he was being sent to New York for school, he knew the situation was serious.
Adjusting to life at Blackmore Academy didn’t come easy to Apollo. His school was supposed to be filled with The Cursed Apple’s best and brightest but all he saw, with few exceptions, was a sea of aggressive mediocrity. Electing not to waste his time with frivolous things like parties and dances, he instead put his energy on the piste, where he rigorously trains as captain of the Blackmore fencing team.
However, at the end of the day Apollo does not fret too much on the tedium of life in New York. He knows that eventually the time will come when his father will call on him to come home and he will get to show that he is worthy of wielding his family's ancestral blade.
Apollo is 18 years old[2] and is referred to as "the Prince of Ixia"[3] or "Crown Prince of North Ixia", though he finds the title inaccurate.[4] His father is referred to as a warlord, and has the authority equivalent to a governor and a general.[5] Apollo is proud of his father and believes his father is proud of him.[6] His father says "loyalty is everything" and "the first step to victory begins with crushing the enemy's hope".[7][8] When killing 
Silver, Apollo mentions that his father would've turned her into a cloak.[9]
Apollo holds his Ixian culture in very high regard.[10][11] He refers to the other playable Ixians, 
Abrams and 
Infernus, as his "brothers".[12][13] While he doesn't hate humans, he believes Ixians are above them.[14][15] Apollo is content at Blackmore Academy,[16] but he refuses to see New York as his home and is only here because his father wanted him to be.[17][18] Ixian is his native language.[19]
Apollo was taught fencing at a young age, having learned Riposte when he was only 5 years old.[20] He seems to be a fencing champion,[21] and hopes to one day represent Ixia at the Olympics.[22][23] Apollo inherited his sword from his father.[24]
Apollo's wish is unknown, but he seems to be fighting for the sake of Ixia.[25][26] While mentioned that Apollo's father expects great things from him,[27] Apollo claims that he isn't fighting in the ritual for his father.[28]
Apollo is extremely confident in his skills and believes himself to be the best.[29][30] He holds honor and discipline in high regards.[31][32][33] His attitude often causes other characters to regard him as vain.[34][35]
Apollo says his life has been personally affected by political assassinations.[36] Notably, while he speaks often of his father, he never mentions his mother.
The symbol etched in Disengaging Sigil is Apollo's family sigil.[37] He has fond memories of his father teaching him how to cast it.[38]
Apollo has no siblings.[39]
Apollo believes Maximilian Fairfax is a "great man".[40] Both Apollo and his father are fans of Fairfax Industries.[41]
Ivy but believes she shouldn't have saved Spanish Harlem, believing that they should've saved themselves rather than rely solely on Ivy.[45][46]
