“When I find who I'm looking for, I'm not bringing him in. I'm putting him down.
There are people who spent their whole lives dreaming about moving to New York. Holliday isn't one of those people. Content with being a Sheriff in a small town, Holliday enjoyed a career where the only time she had to use her gun was when trick shooting at the county fair...then the murders started.
Grisly and inhumane; the bodies were found with their ribcages ripped open... their innards picked apart as if by birds. Holliday tracked down the killer, a travelling folk musician that the media dubbed "The Troubadour", but when she confronted him he exploded into a murder of crows and flew away.
That was 6 months ago, and while the murders in central Illinois have stopped, Holliday's investigation has not. She believes that The Troubadour is travelling to New York, and when she finds him she's going to kill that evil son of a bitch.
Overview
Holliday's motivation and wish in the ritual is to catch and kill the Troubadour.[1][2][3][4]
Biography
Holliday is the granddaughter of Wild West gunslinger Doc Holliday.[5][6][7] Her revolver belonged to her grandfather and is seen as a "family heirloom".[8][9] She inherited her revolver from her father, who also trained her to use it.[10]
Living as a sheriff in Macomb, Illinois,[11][12] Holliday's life before the Troubadour's murders started was relatively simple, with her only using her gun for community events.[13] She's been married more than once,[14] and doesn't want to have children.[15] She's also implied to be Christian.[16] Holliday's boots were a gift.[17]
When the Troubadour started killing people, Holliday tracked him down and confronted him before he turned into a murder of crows and flew away.[13] The exact number of people the Troubadour killed is unknown, although 
The Doorman mentions it "pulled a lot of mid-west spectres".[18] Holliday had a sister who died,[19][20] and it's implied that she could have been a victim of the Troubadour.[21] The actions of the Troubadour was national news known as "the Macomb Massacre".[22][23] Since the initial murders, Holliday has been investigating the Troubadour for 6 months, with a lead that he's headed to New York.[13]
Holliday's visual novel will tell the story of her hunt for the Troubadour.
Personality
Holliday is emotionally closed off and dislikes small talk.[24][25] Other heroes call her a "trainwreck", which she denies.[26][27] She's sympathetic to others who had troubled lives,[28] and feels remorse for killing people she respects.[29][30][31]
Holliday was traumatised by the Troubadour's murders.[32] She avoids sleeping because of the nightmares she gets.[33] Holliday hates the feeling of revenge, but feels like there's nothing else she can do about it.[34] Holliday implies that she frequently gets told not to hunt the Troubadour.[35]
Holliday doesn't like big cities like New York or Chicago.[36][37][38] Holliday is described as a tourist,[39] but she has no intention of sightseeing.[40][41] Holliday wants to leave New York as soon as possible.[42][43] She also dislikes travelling on airships.[44]
Holliday feels pressured by Doc Holliday's legacy and tries not to think about it,[7] but hopes her actions would make him proud.[45][46]
Holliday is vigilant as a law enforcer and takes her job seriously.[47][48] The OSIC have a file on her, where she's portrayed as "competent".[49] That said, Holliday's mission has pushed her out of her jurisdiction,[50] and she's unwilling to let the law get in the way of her revenge.[51]

Captain Murphy is an old colleague of Hollidays.
In Holliday's visual novel, Captain Murphy's receptionist spreads a rumor that Holliday wants to have an affair with Murphy, who is married.[52] 
Haze and 
Krill tease Holliday about the rumor.[53][54] 
Yamato believes the rumor and threatens Murphy's life to keep Holliday in line.[55]
Allie Kincard is a journalist in New York.
Allie offers to help Holliday find the Troubadour if Holliday will let Allie interview her. In Holliday's visual novel, Allie gets Holliday in contact with 
Seven.[56][57]
Venator prays with Holliday before the ritual to try and help heal her trauma from the Macomb massacre. While it doesn't work, Holliday appreciates Venator for trying.[16]
Venator also warns Holliday to tend her pain and anger before it consumes her.[58]

Shiv respects Holliday and offers her a place at the Baxter Society.[70] If they're on opposing teams, Shiv promises to kill the Troubadour on Holliday's behalf.[71]- If they're on the opposing team,
