Apollo is a Hero in Deadlock. With Flawless Advance the fencer begins his approach, timing his strikes perfectly to inflict more damage. Counter-attacks aren't a concern for Apollo, as a flourish of his blade deflects the damage and triggers a quick Riposte, and Disengaging Sigil allows him to jump out of the fray with ease. For his final blow, Apollo dons his fencer's mask and channels Ixia's might with Itani Lo Sahn, leaving enemies defeated in his wake.
As the prince of Ixia, Apollo comes from a land of beauty, tradition and conflict. Political violence was common in Ixia, but when Apollo was sent to New York for his own safety, he knew the situation was serious. Now a highly skilled fencer at Blackmore Academy, Apollo knows that in due time, he will be called back to Ixia... and when he returns, he will show why he's worthy to wield his family's ancestral blade.
The height and lateral distance that Apollo leaps are unaffected by whether the sigil is aimed high or low when cast.
Holding a direction influences the direction Apollo launches himself (A/D biases to the left/right, W reduces the backwards motion, and S increases the backwards motion.

In the initial cast phase of Flawless Advance, Apollo will perform a lunge in the direction he's moving towards. If Apollo has no movement input (using WASD or jumping), he will stand still in his current position. This move is not affected by inertia horizontally, but it is affected vertically: If Apollo casts while jumping or falling with no input he will lunge upwards/downwards.

Charge up and perform a long range slash. Struck enemies cannot take action or heal and are stuck in slow motion. When this effect expires, they suffer devastating damage, dealing bonus damage against half-health enemies.
While in slow motion, Apollo is invulnerable and enemies take reduced damage.

Apollo must channel Itani Lo Sahn for 1.5s before he can execute the actual lunge effect.
After completing the ability channel, Apollo can continue to hold down his ability hotkey to delay executing the lunge. Apollo can delay the lunge like this indefinitely.
Enemies closer to Apollo's original cast location receive less time slow (and thereby take damage sooner); enemies farther from Apollo's original cast location receive more time slow (and thereby take damage later).
Itani Lo Sahn damage is tied to the natural expiration of the time slow debuff. If an enemy manages to dispel the time slow effect debuff prematurely (i.e. their ally uses Divine Barrier), they will not take any damage. This also means that if any enemy has a status effect that makes them immune to the effects of time slow (such as Unstoppable), they will take the damage almost instantly.
Enemies struck by Apollo are still able to parry. This allows them to block the damage with Counterspell.

Apart from global changes, Apollo does not have any special modifications for his abilities in Street Brawl.
Item Draft
In Street Brawl, every hero draws items from a shared pool, but some items are weighted to appear more often for a given hero and others less often. For each tier below, that tier's items are grouped by how likely they are to be offered to Apollo: High, Average, or Low chance.
A land of beauty, tradition and conflict; North Ixia is no stranger to brutal political violence. So when Apollo was told that it was for his own safety he was being sent to New York for school, he knew the situation was serious.
Adjusting to life at Blackmore Academy didn’t come easy to Apollo. His school was supposed to be filled with The Cursed Apple’s best and brightest but all he saw, with few exceptions, was a sea of aggressive mediocrity. Electing not to waste his time with frivolous things like parties and dances, he instead put his energy on the piste, where he rigorously trains as captain of the Blackmore fencing team.
However, at the end of the day Apollo does not fret too much on the tedium of life in New York. He knows that eventually the time will come when his father will call on him to come home and he will get to show that he is worthy of wielding his family's ancestral blade.
Flawless Advance heal on hero hit spirit scaling increased from 1 to 1.3.
Itani Lo Sahn T3 increased from +40% Bonus Damage to +50%.
Itani Lo Sahn cooldown increased from 125s to 145s. (Global ult change)
Itani Lo Sahn T2 reduced from -40s Cooldown to -35s. (Global ult change)

Trivia
Yoshi's Apollo memeApollo's ultimate "Itani Lo Sahn" is Ixian for "I have no equal".[2]
Apollo was first teased in the Hideout with a rapier over the item shop.
A possible inspiration for Apollo is the hero concept Fencer (Apollo's original codename) by player nathanieljbrill in the Deadlock forums. The Fencer concept used a sword as the primary weapon and had the abilities to slow enemies, deflect incoming attacks, and use a charged attack.
"Striving Towards Perfection in the Hideout" is displayed as one's status in the in-game Friends List when playing as Apollo in the Hideout.
Apollo had a fourth wall-breaking line about being the last hero released in the Old Gods, New Blood update, saying that voters had "finally come to their senses".[3] His release poster also referenced this, with Apollo holding a clock and the caption "About Time". He was also the first hero to have a specific line recorded for his release, as other heroes used one of their regular lines.
On the day of Apollo's release, Yoshi shared an image of Apollo on the Deadlock Discord referencing the "I studied the blade" meme. It reads: "When you were voting Rem, I studied The Blade. When you were voting Silver I mastered Mantle Slide. When you were voting Celeste I cultivated Inner Strength. And now that the world is on fire and the patrons are at the gate you have the audacity to come to me for help?"
