Cheat Death is a Tier 4
Vitality Item that can be purchased from the Shop for
6,400.
Overview
[edit | edit source]When the player triggers Cheat Death, a visual effect of a scythe and a contract that reads "Savor your moments, cheat the end, but remember - Death always collects what is owed" appears above the player's head.
Notable Interactions
[edit | edit source]- The temporary death immunity can be ended early by the buff-removing effects of Cursed Relic or Nullification Burst.
- Cursed Relic does not prevent the activation if it is applied before Cheat Death triggers (as it does not prevent passive effects).
- Cheat Death is triggered before a
Rejuvenator Credit. - Victor's Shocking Reanimation is triggered before Cheat Death.
- An exception is for Shiv's Killing Blow, which will trigger Shocking Reanimation and Cheat Death at the same time. This is likely unintentional.
Affected healing
[edit | edit source]Following abilities and items get their healing reduced by Cheat Death.
