Trapper is an unreleased Hero in Deadlock, previously available in the Hero Labs gamemode.

A hard-working civil servant of the New York Municipal Coven, Trapper is ready to clock in during Maelstrom day to earn some basketball tickets.

Trapper was added to Hero Labs on November 7, 2024, and removed from the game when the mode was discontinued on August 18, 2025.

February 25, 2025	Added missing unique death vo sounds for: Fathom, Trapper, Wrecker, Raven, Sinclair, and Wraith. Reworked Bottled Phantasmicide and Silktrap. Adjusted hitboxes to better conform to his model. New sounds added for all of Trapper's abilities. Now traps new vermin and bought a new coat. Bottled Phantasmicide: Increase initial radius from 4.5m to 6m. Bottled Phantasmicide: No longer deals damage, but silences all enemies in the area. Bottled Phantasmicide: Increase cooldown from 25s to 30s. Bottled Phantasmicide: T3 Upgrade now shreds Spirit Resist by 25%. Bottled Phantasmicide: Update Spirit Scaling to increase slow amount. Silktrap: Now deals damage over time. Silktrap: Now reveals enemies hit by silktrap. Silktrap: Increase initial duration from 60s to 120s. Silktrap: Increase debuff duration from 2s to 3s. Backstory

“

An employee of the New York Municipal Coven; Trapper spends his days building Spirit Urns, luring giant rats, and capturing various invasive species from The Outer Planes. It's not a particularly glamorous job, and he really hates working with spiders, but those Knickerbocker season tickets don't pay for themselves.

Lore

Trapper is fighting in the Ritual because he "volunteered to work Maelstrom day."^[1]

While he hates spirit spiders^[2], Trapper loves working for the Municipal Coven.^[3]

Trapper wants to impress someone named Cinnamon^[4], who is likely a stripper. ^[5]

Character Interactions

Holliday appreciates working with Trapper because of how "normal" he is.^[6]
Calico feels like killing Trapper is lowering herself^[7] and expresses total contempt for Trapper.^[8]

Trivia

Trapper's jacket used to be black when he was first added to Hero Labs on November 7, 2024. This model was updated on February 25, 2025, changing the color of Trapper's clothes and removing the spiders on his model.
Trapper currently uses the generic Target Dummy model. His previous model, a modified version of Pocket's original model, was removed in the Six Heroes update.
