Mo & Krill are Heroes in Deadlock. Fighting together, they are a disruptive and mobile pair that can burrow around the battlefield and leave their enemies in ruins. Beginning encounters with Burrow can let Mo & Krill pop out on unsuspecting enemies, attacking them with Scorn to damage and Sand Blast to disarm them. With the support of their team, they can Combo one targeted enemy to pin their target in place while the rest of their allies unleash their attacks.

“Mo and Krill are members of The Tunnel Rats, a group that help facilitate illicit trade and commerce between the boroughs thanks to a network of underground tunnels. But while most denizens of the New York underworld respect the work The Rats do, every once in a while a gang tries to exploit the tunnel system for personal vendettas...that's when Mo and Krill step in and remind the city what happens to those who disrespect their hospitality.
Mo & Krill's motivation in the ritual is to achieve the respect and glory they believe is owed to them.[1][2][3]
Mo is a mole man.[4][5] Krill's species is currently unknown, but he has monkey-like characteristics. He also seems to have fur.[6]
Mo's full name is Maurice.[7] Krill and Pocket also call him "Momo."[8][9] Mo doesn't speak around people he's unfamiliar with.[10] Mo practices pottery and wants to audit pottery classes at Columbia University.[11][12] Mo stinks.[13][14]
Krill is an author and is writing a memoir about his and Mo's adventures, which currently has 31 chapters.[15][11] Krill bathes in sewer sludge.[16]
Mo and Krill have been forced to live in the margins of society.[17] It's unknown how the two met, but Krill mentions that their friendship was forged from "respect and certain death."[18]
Mo & Krill don't like the Friends of Humanity.[19] They also don't like it when their names get mixed up.[20]
Mo & Krill have smuggled a wide variety of objects in the New York tunnels, such as jewels, fine art and Ixian trinkets.[21] They also offer information for a "reasonable price,"[22] and accept money to dig new underground tunnels.[23] Notable items of value they've sold include trinkets from Kelvin's Ixia expedition and knock-offs of Mina's dresses.[24][25] Krill knows someone looking to sell a first edition copy of "Don Quixote."[26]
